61-year-old man ended up with a bullet in his eye

Detectives trying to discover how a 61-year-old man ended up with a bullet in his eye while he was gardening in Manchester, say it is the "strangest case they have ever investigated".
Peter Hesford was admitted to hospital last month after being hit by the bullet outside his Chorlton home.
He was thought to have suffered a stroke but a CT scan later revealed an object lodged in his brain.
Police are looking into the possibility that Mr Hesford, a father-of-six, could have been hit by a stray bullet.
